How to give your kitchen a complete makeover in 1 week.

The new year means changes and inspiration to change. Everything from health, hair, organization and home decor is begging for a fresh start. The clean slate of January means that a lot of people are thinking" out with the old, in with the new". What better time than now to tackle those things that you didn't get to check off your to do list in 2015.

Today, I'm sharing with you how to give your kitchen a complete makeover in 1 week. Now I will admit, that one one week will consist of  you working from sun up to sun down but it is so worth it in the end! Trust me, I did it!. At the end of the 7 days, you can step back and jump up and down while staring at your new kitchen!

Here are 3 things that you can do to your kitchen to make a HUGE impact.

//PAINT YOUR CABINETS//
March of 2015 I tackled this task. Funny thing is that we put our house on the market exactly 1 day after I finished painting the cabinets in the ENTIRE house. We called the realtor and made an appointment for 7 days from the day that I started painting. I knew then that I had a major deadline and that gave me motivation to get it done asap! There was no room for  laziness in those 7 days. Like I said, call me crazy! It was now or never for me. If we didn't call the realtor that day, we probably wouldn't have had the guts to put it on the market. We took a leap of faith! Here is my painting tutorial!

Do these seem overwhelming or broken down in a simple way? Would you tackle any of these? What about painting your cabinets? I'm still teetering between light & dark cabinets for my new home! I can't wait to hang new lighting and make my house a home in 2016!
